Denise Henderson

R. Denise Henderson received her undergraduate degree in Education from Belmont. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Vanderbilt University and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from UTHCS. As a Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, she has worked for an employer-based practice covering thousands of patients. She designed, developed, and managed a telehealth program that continues to grow and expand. She works for their new TextCare program as well as the Behavioral Health Services. She has experience diagnosing, treating, and prescribing for a variety of mental health conditions. Her goal is health promotion using a primarily holistic approach to help others ultimately achieve physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being.
